"As a professional guitar teacher, Kaufman has perfected his teaching skills as much as his picking technique." In this workshop, Steve will first get acquainted with the skills and goals of each student and evaluate strengths and weaknesses with constructive suggestions. He will then tailor his presentation accordingly. He will cover core picking skills and techniques, CAGED System, new tunes, exercises, repertoire and building blocks for growth. This workshop will be invaluable for flatpicking guitarists at all levels of experience. Steve brings to the table his extensive teaching experience, and library of instructional items.

Born into a musical family, and inspired early on by the likes of Flatt and Scruggs, and Doc Watson, Steve Kaufman became a guitar whiz at a young age. Pursuing his passion with vigor, he has the distinction of being the only three-time Natonal Flatpicking Guitar Champion (Winfield). Steve's life has been devoted to musical achievement. He has vast experience as a performer, teacher, recording artist and prolific producer of instructional book and videos (over 100 titles!). His internationally-recognized Acoustic Kamps are renowned for their quality and variety.
